Training With King Kai

Altair was killed by the android attacking the Earth. Altair was running along Snake Way, he understood it was his fault he died, he did after all grab the android as it was exploding, but Altair felt that he should have been stronger and not need to resort to killing himself. Altair was directed to go to the newly restored planet in the north quadrant where the Famous King Kai lived. Altair knew that he could gain quite a bit of power from training with him, after all he gave the legendary Goku his start into great power, why not him too. Altair continued to run until he finally made it to the planet and saw a little blue man sitting at a patio table with a monkey and a small grasshopper looking thing. “Um Hello, I am Altair and I was sent here to train with King Kai, is he around?” the little blue man looked up at him, “are you talking about the man that trained the Legendary Goku and the other Z fighters of the planet Earth? The one with amazing telepathic powers?” Altair had a huge smile across his face, “Yes that is exactly who I am talking about, where can I find him?” the little blue man begins to snicker “No idea hahahahahah *snort” Altair was confuse by the man laughing he was able to describe King Kai but didn’t know where he was…. Altair thought about it for a moment and bowed his head as he was kind of ashamed, “Your king Kai huh?” The little man nodded acknowledging he was in fact King Kai. Altair dropped to his knees and bowed to King Kai, “Sir I would be honored if you could train me to become stronger.” There was a twinkle in King Kais Shades, “Hmm I haven’t trained anyone in quite some time, I will train you but first make me laugh.” Altair was confused by the request but knew King Kai knew what he was doing, “Um well, A three-year old put his shoes on by himself. His mother noticed the left was on the right foot. She said, "Son, your shoes are on the wrong feet." He looked up at her with a raised brow and said, "Don't kid me, Mom. I KNOW they're my feet." Altair blushed a little being kind of embarrassed to have to tell a joke to train. King Kai was then seen rolling on the ground laughing hysterically, “That was GREAT! Hahahah…cough cough ahem, Now to your training first thing you need to do is catch bubbles the monkey.” Altair thought that to be quite easy since he was pretty fast especially compared to a monkey, Bubbles then ran off and soon Altair began to run to catch him but soon noticed that he was running quite slow and his body felt heavy. Altair fell to his knee quite confused, King Kai then walked over to Altair, “The gravity here is many time that of any planet you have been to, it will be difficult to catch that monkey since this is the planet he lives one, so he is naturally used to the gravity.” Altair sighed a little as he began to slowly stand up. Altair now understood the training, he would have to get used to the gravity first, then increase his speed to catch Bubbles. Altair took a few steps, his feet pounding into the ground, Altair began to get used to the gravity but he had a long way to go.

Altair would continue to get faster at chasing Bubbles as time went on. A few days passed and Altair was beginning to feel normal again, the strain of the planets gravity was getting easier to handle then before. Altair would get closer to Bubbles but he was only being teased as Bubbles would run off as Altair got close. Altair began to get a little frustrated that he was being outclassed by a monkey, Altair could understand that he would be slow to start because of the gravity but now that he was pretty much used to the weight there should be no excuse. Altair began to power up his orange aura surrounding his body, Altair picked up speed to catch Bubbles. However Altair was still slightly slower than the monkey. Bubbles would run off and jump just as he would be caught. Altair continued his training taking the nessicary breaks to eat and sleep, but continued to chase Bubbles everyday. Another three days had gone by and Altair was finally able to catch bubbles. “FINALLY! I have you bubbles!” Altair was quite proud of himself, however King Kai had to interject. “Well congrats on catching bubbles but now you need to hit Gregory with this hammer, and he is faster then bubbles.” Altair’s jaw dropped once he heard this but still felt that it would be good training so he agreed to do it. Altair walked over to grab the hammer King Kai had pointed out. Altair went to pick up the hammer, ha and the hammer fell to the ground, it was astonishingly heavy. Altair took a breath and began to lift the hammer. Altair decided it would probably benefit him more to get used to the Hammer first. Altair began to press the hammer as if he was lifting weights. Altair knew that the hammer itself would make the training difficult but training with it would prove quite helpful. Altair took a few days to get the hammer weight under control he felt much stronger after using it in the fasion but for Altair to continue his training he needed hit Gregory with this hammer, by the time Altair got up to chase Gregory, Altair was already used to the hammer so all he needed to do was produce enough speed to catch the little guy. Altair began to chase Gregory, Who was not paying attention and was startled by the sudden movement towards him, and he began to run away. Gregory was quite fast, much faster then Altair at the moment. Altair tired to move faster but was apparently not as used to the hammer as he thought. Altair began powering up his aura once more giving him a bit more power, and speed. Altair got closer to Gregory and was close to hitting as he swung the hammer at him. Gregory was getting nervous because of how close Altair was. Altair continued chasing Gregory through out the day and into the night, until finally Altair was able to hit him with the hammer. Once Altair hit Gregory he dropped the hammer and laid on the ground, quite tired from all the running around. King Kai then walked over to Altair, “Its time for you to learn the Kaio-Ken and another Technique to improve your fighting prowess.” Altair was quite excited about learning the new techniques and couldn’t wait to see the results of his training.
