Ryder Vs. Elijah

Ryder needed a way to become stronger without fighting other Saiyans. He had recently felt a new power level that wasn't Saiyan. He decided to go get the person and bring him to the forest. Once he found him he landed in front of him.

"I need you to come with me." and without saying another word Ryder flew off into the sky, hoping the mystery person would follow.

So.
I was training by myself, focusing on my training, when all of a sudden, I felt a powerlevel coming towards me, and fast. Sensing deeper, it didn't seem hostile at all.
I waited for the power to arrive, and then he showed up, landing in front of me. "I need you to come with me,"was all he said, and flew off with out a word.
Not feeling any hostility, I followed, keeping a safe distance in case my suspicions were correct.

Ryder stood in the forest where he usually did his training, waiting for the person. He was not as powerful as the Saiyans he was used to fighting, but he could feel the potential this person had. Now he could only make friends with this person and form a powerful alliance.

A few yards up, he landed. I followed behind into a vibrant forest, with a giant clearing.
Like the kind used for fighting.
I lowered myself to him, studing him warily.
"Who are you, and what do you want with me?" I asked in a loud, but clear voice.

Ryder couldnt help but be excited. The power this being gave off was amazing even though his power level wasnt that high.

"I am Ryder. I am a Saiyan who grew up on this planet after my father was banished from New Vegeta. I am here to become as strong as possible, so I will one day over throw the King of the Saiyans and take his place. I have brought you here to train with me."

Train? Saiyan?Vegeta?
Elijah pushed that thought aside. Even if he was a Saiyan, he wasn't-or didnt seem-evil like Vegeta. And he had gotten that poison out of this body a long time ago.
And the power he was giving off was incredible! Elijah thought. But it didn't faze him, in fact, it excited him. This would be his first real test, his measuring stick against someone strong.
"Well," He yelled in a clear voice. "If you're looking to spar, then so be it. I too need help getting stronger, and the gravity chamber kills me every time."
Elijah threw the tail of his trench coat behind his leg, and assumed a fighting position.

Ryder gave the person a smile. The thought of a fight excited him.

"Let me start this one off." Ryder lunged at him throwing a couple punches towards his gut.

He came at me, fists balled up, ready to start this off. Throwing a combination to my gut, he successfully hit me twice, the third one missing.
He is strong, I thought, clutching my stomach. I would have to be more careful.
Saying nothing, I rushed forward, throwing kicks at his body.

Ryder took a kick to the ribs, which he would admit didnt feel very good.

"Your's fast. Try this." Ryder made another lunge at Elijah this time aiming for his head.

He charged, aiming at my head. I thought I would be able to block them all, but at the last split second, he dropped his hands, intending to go for body shots. I lowered my hands, and that's when I realized it was a feint.
Pow.
Pow.
Pow.
Three hits straight to the face, the last one, throwing me against a tree behind me. Blood dribbled out of the corner of my mouth. I spit out blood, and smiled.
He was good.
"You're faster," I said, still smiling.
I launched myself off of the tree, throwing punches and kicks to his body.

Ryder felt his face. His mouth had blood in the corner of it.

"It's time to take it up a level now that the warm up was over. KAMEHAMEHA!"

A gigantic wave came out of his hands, aiming directly for me. I dodged it at the last second, while the forest behind me didnt have the same luck. An explosion happened behind me, sending parts of tree and dust everywhere. He definitely stepped it up. I would have to do the same. Bringing my hands together, I launched my own attack at him. "BLACK WAVE!!!"

Ryder was thrown back by the wave from Elijah.

"That was different. CONTINUOUS ENERGY BULLETS!"

Each hit felt like his punches, only slightly harder.
My body was hit with five of them, the sixth only missing because I had fallen to the ground already.
It felt as if my body was on fire. Each point of impact hurt like hell.
I got to my feet, breathing slightly heavy.
"Wow, you're good. And that hurt."
My hand started to glow.
"But lets see how you like this! FINAL REVENGER!!!!"

The smoked cleared and Ryder's clothes were now tore and he had a fair amount of blood coming from his body.

"That was incredible, but I am not going to let you defeat me. Even if we are training. BIG BANG CANNON!"

A bright light enveloped my body. That was my first thought.
The second was pain. It covered my entire body. I hit the ground, barely able to hold back my screams. This was getting out of control. I could tell now that he was stronger than me, not by a lot, but enough to possibly kill me.
But, surprisingly, I wasn't scared of the thought.
As I came to, I got to a sitting position, clutching my chest, breathing heavily. I smiled. "Hey. I know that you are stronger than me. Its obvious from that last blast. How about we dial it down to just regular sparring?"

Ryder pretended not to listen. He charged at Elijah and aimed a kick at his head while he sat unsuspecting.

He kicked me, while I was down.
I almost blacked out from the hit, but inside, opposite the pain I felt, was anger. That familiar anger that ---was resereved for Vegeta, long ago...
At that point, I didnt care about pain, I didnt care about my life, I only wanted to hurt him. I stood up, my Blood-Red aura surrounding my body. I didnt see normally anymore, but everything was tinted in red. I brought my hands together, and leveled them at him.
"SHINING FRIDAY!!"

"My father always told me to be ready for anything. You are powerful I don't know why you are holding back on me. ATTACK ME!" Ryder knew Elijah had amazing potential. He had to continue to push him until he used his anger to fight, just like his father had taught him before. "If you kill me, so be it, but i dont fear for my life." Ryder charged Elijah throwing punches and kicks randomly at his body.

His hits hurt, hurt more than anything, but he missed a couple. I was hurting him. I knew that my body couldnt take much more, but I couldnt give up. I wouldnt. I took his punches and kicks, and threw some of my own.

The punches to his body were hurting. Every fiber of his being was telling him to keep fighting. His energy attacks were amazing. His punches brusied. his kicks stung.

"Will you join me? Together we can take out any threat, and no one can stand in our way."

My breathing slowed, my vision went back to normal. He brought out of a side that I hid so long ago.
"I agree, that no one would be able to stand in our way. But I am on my own journey. I cannot at the moment."
A smile formed.
"But I am not ruling out the future."

Ryder was rather disappointed.

"Fine have it your way, but in the future come find me and we will rule this planet and any other we step on." Ryder Jumped into the air and left Elijah in the forest alone.
