After Ryder Checked on Kaman he headed to the gym where his father trained fighters. When he walked in he was bombarded by questions from the fighters asking where Kaman was. He walked past everyone ignoring them, only to walk into the room where his father had a gravity chamber. He entered the chamber.
“Thirty times gravity.” The weight pulled on his entire body. It was familiar feeling yet still uncomfortable. He knew after the fight with Darthwin he had to keep training to ensure he would become the king of the Saiyans. He started off doing what his father had made him do the first time in the chamber. He made a few punches to the front, threw some elbows and made a few kicks, just to get his body used to the intense gravity. Then he jumped into the air a few times trying to stay floating in mid air. This time in the chamber was a lot harder than the first time. It might have something to do with the thirty times gravity. He fell to the floor and began doing push-ups as fast as he could. Every time he would go to the ground it would feel like he was falling off a truck, it began to give him a headache. Ryder jumped to his feet and began to run in circles around the outer rim of the chamber. As he slowly found it harder to move his legs he stopped running and put his hands on his knees. “This is difficult. I wonder how many times father trained in here. I guess I could just ask him once he is better. Alright back to business.” Ryder threw his hand into the air. “Destructo Disk!” The disk, that Ryder was slowly becoming known for, formed in his palm. It was exceedingly difficult to hold his arm above his head, even more so because his arms already felt like jelly. He knew if he dropped his arm he would be cut by the very dangerous disk that he held in his hand. After holding the disk there for ten minutes he threw it. He paid extra special attention to the disk, and right before it hit the wall he pulled his arms to the left. The disk suddenly changed directions. Ryder knew this would be a very important thing to be able to do once he went up against the king of the Saiyans. Seeing as the gravity was so strong it was very difficult to move his arms where he wanted the disk to go. Ryder flew the disk around the room a few times before he aloud it to hit the wall where it was absorbed. Ryder thought to himself how cool it was now that he could control his disks instead of letting them just flying straight like before. Ryder jumped into the air and started flying in circles trying to keep himself in the air. Once he began feeling lighter he thought he’d try some more energy attacks. “Continuous Energy Bullets!” He began to shoot Ki Blasts from his hands at a steady pace into the walls where they were continuously absorbed. He continued to launch Ki Blasts out of his hands until he could feel his energy draining to a point he wouldn’t be able to stand. He stopped and landed falling all the way to a knee. “I need to find a way to beat the king of the Saiyans. I might need to team up with Darthwin. The only thing we need to do is liberate New Vegeta from the current power. So I might have to wait for the Prince. As long as the king is removed from the throne, I will be able to sleep at night. Darthwin isn’t a bad guy. He would do that planet some good. As long as I am there to keep a close watch on the situation. I refuse to let the Saiyan people be ruled by a dictator. They need to have rights. I understand they are Saiyan warriors, but that doesn’t mean they should be banished from their homeworld when they don’t do every little thing one-person wants. It doesn’t make sense to me. I am going to talk to Darthwin to see if he wants to join up. It might do me some good anyway. I wonder where Altair went, I don’t feel his power level on the planet anymore.” Suddenly the door to the chamber opened.
“Son.” Kaman stood in the doorway.
“Father! You must lie down. You are injured.” Kaman pulled his sleeve out of the way and showed where his wound had once been.
“I am fine son. We must continue to train. I know what you want to do, and I am willing to help you fight the King of the Saiyans.”
“No, I can’t take the risk of you getting hurt again.” Kaman’s body vanished and then Ryder felt him standing behind him.
“I will never get hurt again. I know my place on this team, and that is the coach. You are all the muscle we need for you to take on the King. And you have a lot of friends on this planet that are willing to help you fight.” This was all Ryder needed to move on. It was truly time to put his training into high gear. For the first time he knew he would become the King of the Saiyan race.
