Ryder sat alone in the forest for hours after Kaman had left before actually standing up. “Maybe Kaman is right. Maybe I need to calm my mind before I rush into a fight like that. Fighting that android was difficult, but that Tofu guy, he was difficult. Even with that Lana girl fighting with me. If I would have waited a little longer I would have had more power to throw more attacks, and I wouldn’t have gotten beaten so bad.” Ryder could feel his angry building. “WHY!” Ryder screamed as he raised his power level. “DESTRUCTO DISK!” He created his signature disk in the palm of his hand over his head and threw it at a nearby tree, cutting it and a couple trees behind it down. “DESTRUCTO DISK!” He turned a hundred and eighty degrees and threw another. After that he realized what he was doing “No! I have to control my anger. I must be the one in control. Father has taught me everything I know. I must use it to fight with a level head. Ryder stopped to take a deep breath of the fresh forest air, then turned and put two fingers to his forehead. “SPECIAL BEAM CANNON!” A stream of energy erupted from his fingers as he pointed them at a tree. When he was done he looked at the tree and noticed a hole drilled not only through the one tree, but all the trees behind it. “Wow, that was pretty cool.” Smoke was coming from the two fingers where he had launched the new attack. “I might have to be careful with that one.” From there Ryder took to the air to head home to talk to his father. He knew now training was the only way to keep control of his anger. Maybe he could track down Altair and get him to help. Only Kaman would know the answer so he took off as fast as he could towards his father to get some more real training.
