Techniques
Continuous Energy Bullets - combination of many energy waves fired at a very rapid rate, which causes a lightning speed effect. It is effective for quick, widespread, and massive amounts of damage, but it is very draining on one's own ki level. However, if they are powerful enough, they are able to avoid the draining effects of this combination technique.
Thunder Shock Surprise (萬國驚天掌) or "Bankoku Bikkuri Shō' is one of Master Roshi's most powerful attacks. He shoots a lightning blast towards the target using both hands, and traps the opponent within an electric field that, according to Yamcha in the english dub, turns every cell in their body into electricity. Normally, the opponent cannot escape; Goku, however, was able to escape by transforming into a Great Ape at the sight of a full moon. Before using against Goku, Master Roshi had only needed to use the attack once before while sparring with Grandpa Gohan. Piccolo uses a very similar move against Great Ape Gohan when he was going crazy from the blutz waves generated by a holographic moon emitted from Goku's Attack Ball nearby.
Evil Containment Wave (魔封波, Mafūba) is a technique designed to seal demons (Mazokus) away by sucking them into a container with a special "Demon Seal" ofuda on it. The move requires so much of the user's life force to perform that those who use it, whether successfully or not, are likely to die soon afterward. This move was first used against King Piccolo by Master Mutaito to trap him inside an electric rice cooker during his first rampage. Any type of container can be used, as long as it can be sealed shut after the technique has been completed. However, the smaller the container, the harder it is to aim the target into its opening.
Kamehameha (かめはめ波, lit. "Turtle Devastation Wave" or "Turtle Destruction Wave") is the first energy attack that is shown in the Dragon Ball series. It is first seen in Manga volume 2 and in Dragon Ball: episode 8 ("The Kamehameha Wave"). The Kamehameha Wave is the most widely used finishing attack in the Dragon Ball series, and is Goku's signature attack. It is also a signature attack of the Turtle School.
Skills
Ki Blast (気砲, Kikō; literally translated as Spirit Blast) is an energy wave technique in the Dragon Ball franchise. It has made appearances in almost every video game spun off by the series, particularly the Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series, where it is the most basic and common form of energy wave. Its power is usually determined by the amount of energy put into it, or the person using it, as one of Broly's or Kid Buu's can easily destroy a planet.
Flight (舞空術, Bukujutsu; Literally meaning "Sky Dance Technique") is one of the most commonly used techniques in the whole Dragon Ball Series. The result of it is that the user manipulates their ki energy so that they can levitate or fly with their feet.
Ki sensing - Ki sensing is the ability to sense the location, life force, and power level of anyone; the stronger and closer the enemy, the more powerful the sensation. Once a fighter masters the skill, they can use it even when their other five senses are incapacitated.
No outsider knows the sensations associated with ki sensing, as Mr. Popo likes explaining it to someone as being like "describing sight to the blind." However, the manga and anime usually show a minor spark on their head to signify that the Z-Fighter is picking up a power.
