Altair's Training

Altair was in the forest, he wanted to continue his training. Altair knew there had to be other fighters on the planet, and even the universe that could beat him in a fight and he needed to make sure he was ready for those opponents. Altair moved deep into the forest as to not interfere with any near by populace. Altair began to power up his ki, his dark orange aura surrounding his body. Altair was content with his level of power, but wanted more. Altair finished powering up and began throwing punches and picks into a tree, he was not looking for power, as much as speed at this point. Altair slowly got faster with his attacks, happy with his progress he moved onto power rather then speed. Altair began to punch harder and harder, his hands beginning to get slightly bloody from not being used to the inensity of the impact. Altair took a break dressing his hands with bandages to protect the wounds. Altair looked around to see if Simara was around, and as always she was. "Well what do ya think?" He asked, not really facing her, She jumped down from the branch she was sitting on, "Was better but ive also seen better....." She replied smiling knowing Altair was not tickled by the comment. Altair smirked at the comment, quite predictible from Simara. "How about this then!" Altair cupped his hands and shouted as loud as he could,"KaMEhaMEha!!!!!" A large blue orb began to form in Altair's hands, once the orb was to Altair's liking he thrust his hands forward, by doing this he launched a solid beam across the forest. Altair complete his attack and wiped his hands clean, "How's that?" Altair asked quite proud of himself. Simara looked at him almost disappointed, "Well if i knew you were going to do that I would not have said anything....." Altair looked at Simara then back in the direction of his Kamehameha to see the void where part of the forest used to be, Altair knew Simara wasn't too happy with him destroying part of the forest, but was amazed that he was actually able to cause this much damage. Altair turned and hugged Simara and apologized for the incident as then began to walk out of the forest.

Altair came back to the forest, this time with out Simara. Altair needed to continue his training. He was quite aware of his mortality and needed to make sure he was prepared for anything that would come his way. Altair knew of a technique that would allow him to make images of himself moving a high speeds. This ability would allow him to dodge and make opportunities for counter attacks. Altair began his training by building up his power, and pushing it into his speed, Altair was easily able to move faster using this but did not create the after image. Altair pursued this ability quite a few more times until he was able to pick up more speed but was continually missing his mark. Altair took a break to ponder his dilemma. Altair figured that maybe he would be able to leave his image behind if he were to move some of his Ki around himself. Altair tried this theory a few time but it did not work. Altair moved back to the old plan and try to increase his speed to the point that he would leave an image behind. Altair pushed himself past his original limits and began to get much faster. Altair was quite happy with the results he was producing but knew that he needed to get much faster. Altair pushed himself harder and harder, until finally he found that he was leaving behind the image he was striving for. Altair collapsed to the ground after exerting so much energy. Altair finally complete the skill he sought to complete. He began to wonder if it would be enough though, would he be stronger then his opponents.... Altair closed his eyes to rest and regain his strength. After about six hours Altair woke up ready to begin his next training regiment.

Altair went back to the forest to continue his training on the Kamehameha wave. As he learned before the Kamehameha wave could be manipulated into many forms and today he wanted to try for another form to make himself stronger.



Altair began warming up launching a few low level waves and building up to an actual Kamehameha wave. It seems every time Altair trains his attack he becomes stronger in it and it becomes easier to use while still sustaining its power. "This is good it will be easier to win battles now, but I have to push even farther then this!" Altair thought to himself.



Altair began his progression with powering up his angry Kamehameha but instead of firing it tried to make it stronger by pumping his own power into it, instead of anger. Altair needed to find a way to tap into unimaginable power without having to be angry.



Altair continued to power up, making his attack larger by the second. Then all of a sudden Altair heard a voice.....



"Do not be alarmed, I am speaking to you to help you in your endeavors. You have an untapped power that can give you the power you desire but you must unlock that power, and I can tell you how, I require no payment or thanks only a promise from you. Do you agree?" The, almost familiar, voice said.



"What is the promise I have to make?" Altair asked.



"You must go to the planet Renza and free it from a tyrannical demon much like the famed Majin Buu but this one is nowhere near as strong but still has the power to control the planet. You might not remember the planet but it is you Home Planet, the planet you grew up on and I can prove it to help you regain your memory, but you must gain the power of a stronger kamehameha to do this."



"I Agree, now please let’s get started." Altair states.



"You must start by searching your mind and find a lost power, most explain it as the pain of loss. What is it that you want most but have lost and forces you to fight harder to achieve."



Altair searched his mind to see a shadowed figure with arms wide open calling Altair’s name. And also saying "its time to come home."



All of a sudden Altair's power skyrocketed; this power was like nothing Altair has ever felt before.



"NOW KA-ME-HA-ME-HAAAAAA!!!!!" the attack was huge "this power is amazing!! I bet I can make it go farther." Altair began using this new found power to push even further. Altair released the attack but soon fell to the ground, almost powerless, barely able to move. "It seems I have some work to do with that move, hehe. Thank you whoever you are."



"You will find out who I am soon enough, I can promise you that, but remember the promise you made to me. After you rest go to the planet Renza, and save the planet from that demon, his name is Janko, he must be stopped." the voice from before said as it faded away.



Simara arrived on the scene to see Altair on the ground, she was worried because she had never seen the kamehameha that big before, at least while being released by Altair. She asked what had happened and Altair told her the story of the voices in his head and what the voice asked him to do. Simara smiled, “You are going to help right? You have to go help….” Altair smiled and agreed, rising to his feet and went to rest before making the trip to Renza to save the planet.

Skill: Power Ball

Altair had learned of a skill that would allow him to use the abilities of his tail to transfrom into the legendary great ape for of the saiyans with out having to wait for a full moon. The Power Ball Technique would take blutz waves from the atmosphere and convert them to its user, allowing the transformation. The Power ball itself would be easy enough to create and manipulate, however The great ape transformation would be difficult to control. Altair decided that he would worry about that issue when it came about. Altair began by making a Ki orb in his hand, it was a white orb about the size of a volleyball. Altair threw the ball into the sky, it exploded upon reaching its destination, the exposion was just in size, the ball became much larger and look quite like a moon.

Altair smiled to himself it seems that he had succeeded at creating the power ball, but shortly after the ball formed it exploded once more, disappearing into the sky.
Altair was confused and kind of disappointed but this, it seems as the the power ball is not stable enough to sustain itself, Altair needed to find a way to stablize the ball. Altair sat in meditation for a couple of hours testing the skill in his mind. Knowing what he knew from the first test and the flow of power to create the ball it seemed as though the ball needed more energy but in a more condensed form. This would allow the orb to last longer, the time limit would depend on how much power was used. Altair stood up after his meditation and decided it was time to try the attack again. Altair charged the ball in his hand and threw it to the sky. The Orb developed just as it should and was sustaining itself. Altair began to feel the blutz waves reaching his body, This was it Altair was going to transform but did not know if he would be able to control it, but it was too late to think of that. Altair's body began to grow hair and his body also began to increase in size. After about a minute Altair was fully transformed in his Oozaru Form. Altair felt the power coursing through his body but soon was overwhelmed by the primal instinct of the transform. Altair began blasting the forest away with his newly found power, namely with his Mouth Cannon. Soon Simara showed up, and began shouting at Altair, "ALTAIR YOU NEED TO STOP!" Altair looked down at Simara, and in a act of momentary sanity in this Oozaru state, Altair attacked the fake moon, destroying it and reverting to his original form. Altair layed on the ground unable to remember what had just happened. Altair knew he needed to train using this form but it seems that Simara was able to assist in this, for she was able to knock him out of it. Altair decided that he would only use this ability in emergencies, at least until he could fully control it. Altair looked at Simara, "I am going to need your help with this one but only if you are comfortable helping me tame this beast inside me." Altair looked concerned about his own request but Simara knew he would not be asking unless he truly needed the help. Simara kneeled down next to Altair, "Of Course i will help you, but lets save it for another day so that you can rest." Altair smiled at Simara, "Thank you." Altair stayed laying on the ground and fell asleep, he needed the rest for more training. Altair knew that his transformation would help him, but could be devistating if he could not control it.

Altair needed a new way to move around, it was becoming a problem for him to travel by foot anymore, and Altair had heard of a way to use his Ki to help him "Fly". Altair began by regulating his Ki flow downwards through his feet into the ground, he began to get some lift, but not quite enough to fly. Altair continued concentrating and soon enough was quite far off the ground. Altair also began to get a hang of his movements, This would help greatly in his fighting, as well as traveling. Altair continued this process over and over again to gain full control of his flight.

Altair finished his flight training the other day, and he decided that it was time to learn another offensive technique. Altair learned of a basic ability called Continuous Energy Bullets, all it was, was launching Ki bolts at a rapid rate, but just added a bit more spunk to it. Altair knew how to for ki bolts, they were quite easy to form, all Altair needed to figure out was a comfortable level of ki to put in to the attack and learn to throw them at a rapid rate of fire. Altair decieded that he would work on his ki consumtion first. Altair charged a orb into his hand and started to regulate its power. Altair found a level he was comfortable with, a level where he knew he could sustain the attack with out using all his power but still able to do some damage if the attack connected. Altair then moved on to increasing the rate at with he could produce these orbs and launch them. He started by using smaller orbs then what the attack would originally use, just so that he would be able to perform the technique multiple times to get the practice in. Altair began launching the orbs one by one increasing in speed with each passing minute. Altair knew that he needed to start increasing the flow of power to make sure he can keep up the speed along with the strength of the orbs. Altair continued to increase his speed and now began to increase the power in the attack. Altair had finally perfected the attack, he was comfortable with the speed and power of the attack. This attack would help greatly in Altair's goals to become stronger. Altair sat down against a tree to rest and regain his strength for as soon as he recovers it would be time to continue his training.

Continuous Energy Bullets, Flight and Power Ball earned

Altair arrived back on Earth, and into his favorite training location on the planet.  The tree began to regrow from his early training days, the breeze almost welcoming him back. For a time Altair roamed the trees remembering back to when he was weaker then he is now, "how did i live for as long as i have without the power i have today?" it was a strange question to ask himself but held some truth, during his many battles there have been times where Altair narrowly escaped death, Namek being the most recent of these battles, even back on Renza, but one day the Icer who defeated the warriors on Namek would pay.  

Altair knew that he would need to become stronger and so much so that no matter the amount of training the Icers did, he would surpass them.  After some time Simara walked up to Altair putting her hands to his shoulders, "Ive missed this place." She said, "Its like a second home"  What Simara said was true the planet Earth was as much a Home to Altair and Simara as Renza itself is.  Altair smiled and agreed.  As Altair and Simara turned around Kumiko was standing there not as amused with the scenery.  

"We need to train" he said, "the defeat at the hands of the Icers was disastrous, we must not let that happen again."  As much as Altair agreed with his companion, he knew that if they hastily began to train and not take in the view they could potentially lose the meaning of the fight they have been having, This is what they must protect.  "We will train in the morning Kumiko, I promise" Altair stated as he walked away, scanning the area for a place to camp for the night.

After some much needed rest and relaxation, Altair awoke with Kumiko and Simara, it was time to begin training.  The gang decided that it would be a good idea to first off find some land that was already scarred as not to cause more damage to the surrounding area, secondly, it would be two vs one, Altair wanted to get better at fighting multiple opponents as well as train in his super saiyan form, but also knowing that the combine power of Kumiko and Simara was greater then his, it would create a challenge for better training.  

Training began with Kumiko powering up and reaching his MAX Power form, yes this would make him easier to hit, but the damage he could take had greatly increased, Simara powered up as well but not having any transformations of her own, she would only power up to her limit.  At this point Kumiko and Simara were ready for a fight, Altair stood there concentrating on the battle ahead, his eyes slowly opened, his orange aura began to engulf his body and slowly turn gold, his hair standing on end as his aura flowed, Altair reached his Super Saiyan form, it was time to begin.  

Simara started the brawl with a volley of punches and kicks, She and Kumiko had fought together many times and have begun to read each other quite well, as Altair was focused on Simara, Kumiko charged a Blast Cannon attack in his hands, and short after launching it at Altair behind Simara, at the last possible second Simara ejected herself from the volley and alllowed the Cannon to connect with Altair.  It was all Altair could do to hold back the carefully planted attack, however Altair was able to manage throwing the attack up.  Altair looked at Kumiko but no words were spoken, they knew what was being thought, the attack was a success, any other being weaker then Altair at that moment would have been destroyed, Altair was quite proud.  But now was not the time to praise, it was time to fight.  

The warriors would fight on for the next few days taking breaks as they needed to make sure they were not seriously hurt. After the last session of training they knew they had succeeded at the training mission. There will always be room for improvement, but for now this is all they could do.  Once more Altair and Simara would take their walk around the forest as Kumiko packed up to get ready to travel to the next location on Earth.  Altair knew that the next time he and the Icers met, it would be a much different battle. He knew he needed to right the wrong of losing New Namek.
